Booking & Cancellation Policies
South Coast Pet Dentals, Inc. Terms & Conditions (Regarding Deposits & 48 Hour Cancellation Policy)
Like any business, we have policies in place that are clearly defined. Since we are a first come, first serve appointment based small business, every appointment is very important not only to us, but to you. To protect the integrity of our business we have outlined our policies below. Please review them carefully.
1. You are responsible for remembering your appointment. As a courtesy, South Coast Pet Dentals, Inc. (SCPD, Inc.), with the correct information, we do send you an initial confirmation email. Also, 72 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a text and email reminder which allows you 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We do not recommend cancelling an appointment that you'd rather reschedule since you will be charged a $25 booking fee. All rescheduling can be done either through your account or through the confirmation email we sent to you. You may also login to your account to see your appointment history. All "Priority Booking" fees are non-refundable.
2. See pricing before booking your appointment. (Keep in mind, actual price varies depending on your pet’s last visit with us.) If you are uncertain when we saw your pet last, please refer to the last dental chart that we emailed to you or login to your account to see your appointment history with us. If you do not understand how to do this, please follow the instructions on our booking page.
3. All appointments require a non-refundable $25 booking fee (included in your deposit), to be credited towards balance at check out. Should you cancel your appointment at any time outside of 48 hours, SCPD, Inc. will refund your deposit minus $25.00.
4. All deposits are non-refundable if cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours or less of your appointment time. There are no exceptions.
5. For all cancellations outside of 48 hours, we will refund your deposit, minus your non-refundable $25 booking fee.
6. Your deposit will be applied to your balance on the day of service, final charges may vary.
7. If South Coast Pet Dentals, Inc. requests to change your appointment time/day and they are unable to accommodate you outside of the 48 hours cancellation policy, your deposit will be applied towards your next visit and the 48 hour cancellation policy will apply to the newly created appointment. If you choose to cancel the appointment at that time of the request, you will be refunded the full amount of your deposit, including your booking fee.
8. Cancellations/Rescheduling Regarding Covid-19: Our policy remains firmly in effect as we do not work with humans. However, if you tested positive, please wear the proper mask at drop-off and pick-up to minimize risk.
9. We run very a tight schedule! In the event, you are 15 minutes or later for your appointment, you will be considered a "No Show" and will forfeit your deposit, or you may pay a late to appointment fee and we will do our best to squeeze your pet into our schedule that same day without a guaranteed completion time, provided you pay the late fee according the weight class of your pet as listed above. *Because we run a very tight schedule, it is challenging to fit your pet into our schedule after you've missed your appointment time which is why there is no guaranteed time of completion and a fee associated. It may take us minutes, or it may takes us several hours to get to your pet.
